With the holiday season things winded down here at the Numo offices, but now that is 2010 look out! A lot of new products and improvements are scheduled for the next few months as well you will see us a lot more active online and especially on the mobile. Gartner, Inc. has identified the top 10 consumer mobile applications for 2012. Gartner listed applications based on their impact on consumers and industry players, considering revenue, loyalty, business model, consumer value and estimated market penetration. Of the top 3 on the Gartner list; 1. Money transfer, 2. Location-based services and 3. Mobile search, Numo is already well positioned in mobile search with its Numo Finder. In the Numo roadmap are products & services that also fits location-based services based on mobile search and presence. Wow! It has been a whirlwind of activity and planning but we finally have launched the company officially now as Numo Solutions! (Numo for short) Check out the new website at http://www.numosolutions.com There is a lot more to the whole rebranding thing as we discovered along the way then simply changing names and logos, it forces you to reevaluate your positioning, what you stand for and what's important. Moving forward with Mobile Nordic to where we wanted to be was just not possible as we have big global ambitions and the name/products were too geographically linked. Also, another exciting part about the rebranding under one identity was it allowed us now to have a BLOG, to have a twitter account, and to be more active on web and mobile social spaces. Plus we now have a very comprehensive customer service process so we are able to support our users and have a direct feedback line to making our products even better! So please give us any feedback and let us know how we can do it better everyday. Get going with Numo!

So this is the first of many blog posts to come, we are on the eve of D-Day before we launch into a new brand, I have slept very little combined with the fact the sun has gone into protective custody in Norway, however we are getting closer and closer to getting ready. With the new clients fully tested and links/bugs being worked out on the website I am really looking forward to getting it up. Over the next few days as things transition over we hope you will bear with us as we go through these growing pains of moving into being a more global application developer. Even more exciting is loading the new application into the various app stores just in time for the holiday season. Ok back to work but hopefully will wake up tomorrow as the new Numo Solutions!
